Viewers continue to savage Peter Helliar’s game show Cram

It was savaged by audiences after its premiere episode.

And the fortunes of Network 10 series Cram! have failed to improve since its debut, with the quiz show’s ratings continuing to slide amid more audience backlash.

Viewers didn’t hold back in condemning Thursday night’s episode of the Peter Helliar star vehicle, with one person bluntly tweeting: ‘How is this s**t still on the air?’

‘How is this s**t still on the air?’ Viewers continue to savage Peter Helliar’s ‘forced and flat’ game show Cram! as its ratings slip to a dismal 400,000

Last week’s episode scored a paltry 400,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, some of the show’s modest-sized audience took to Twitter to savage it.

‘Woah, this show is just so forced and flat,’ one unimpressed viewer wrote, while another added that they felt the program was ‘Embarrassing. Pointless’.

One audience member thought of the show’s social media team, writing: ‘I feel most sorry the official channel 10 guy who has to make tweets about this s**t show and pretend its funny. Look at the ratings. It has bombed completely.’

Cram! failed to live up to the hype early on, with a slew of viewers taking to Twitter to slam the program after its debut episode earlier this month.

‘Worst show I’ve seen in 35 years. Won’t last 3 weeks. 18 viewers nationally. As funny as cancer. A new low for Aussie TV Cram That!!’ Tweeted one unimpressed fan following the episode.

The show premiered to just 558,000 metro viewers, easily beaten on the night by Channel Seven’s new game show offering The Wall, which drew in 974,000 metro viewers.

Indeed, many viewers were quick to predict the demise of the Channel Ten show, with one Tweeting: ‘Is Cram cancelled yet?’

Meanwhile, another viewer critiqued the show’s casting choices, Tweeting: ‘Cram is terrible. It might be okay if Peter Helliar wasn’t hosting it though.’

‘I just feel like everyone on this show is trying too hard,’ another concurred.
