The Women’s World Cup final certainly delivered its share of excitement on Sunday night Spain went head-to-head with England,

However, not all aspects of the night were met with roaring approval, especially when it came to the pre-match entertainment. 

FIFA’s decision to feature Australian singer Tones had many viewers reaching for the mute button on their remote control. 

Fans were quick to air their displeasure on social media, with a deluge of criticism targeting the Dance Monkey’ singer’s performance.

‘I would like to disown Tones and I [because] she makes bad music and this pre show is horrible,’ vented one disgruntled fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
