Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has committed his future to Minnesota by signing a multi-year contract extension.

The 43-year-old joined the Vikings back in 2022, with the team amassing a 34-17 record and two playoff appearances during his tenure.

The news comes four months after head coach Kevin O’Connell also signed a new deal to stay at the franchise.

O’Connell arrived in Minnesota back in February 2022, just weeks after the appointment of Adofo-Mensah.

Together, they have turned the Vikings into one of the most impressive teams in the NFC.

Across their three seasons at the helm, the Vikings have reached the playoffs twice but they have yet to win a postseason game.

With Sam Darnold under center, the Vikings put together a 14-3 regular season, finishing behind the Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

But O’Connell’s team lost in the first round of the playoffs. They were beaten 27-9 by the Rams in Los Angeles.

Together, O’Connell and Adofo-Mensah have overseen major changes ahead of the 2025 season.

Darnold joined the Seahawks in a three-year, $100.5 million deal and the Vikings were among several teams linked with a move for legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

But JJ McCarthy, who missed his entire rookie season through injury, is expected to be the Vikings’ starter.
