Vikings safety Camryn Bynum was left red-faced on Sunday after he collected a fumble and raced into the endzone against the Lions.

The 25-year-old thought he had scored a vital touchdown for Minnesota after Detroit quarterback Jared Goff was tackled while attempting a pass.

Goff spilled the ball and it was collected by Bynum who raced clear and then celebrated a touchdown by performing ‘the worm’ in the end zone.

Unfortunately for the safety, the officials then took a second look at the play and ruled it was, in fact, an incomplete pass – rather than a fumble.

That meant Goff was handed a reprieve while Bynum’s extravagant celebration was in vain.

The safety, a fourth-round pick in the 2021 draft, performed the same celebration after picking off a pass by Brock Purdy against the 49ers back in October.

There was no such let off for the Seahawks on Sunday, when Titans running back Derrick Henry showed the finesse and poise of a seasoned quarterback as he threw the ball for a touchdown.

With Tennessee tied at 0-0 at the start of the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks, Henry appeared to line up ready for one of his trademark runs.

But the 6ft 3ins, 247lbs running back collected the ball, took a few steps to his right and shaped to throw.

Catching the Seahawks defense completely off guard, Henry threw a perfect pass over them towards the end zone.
