A notorious paedophile with a history of violence has been arrested on child porn charges less than two weeks after being released from prison.
Bradley Pen Dragon was picked up on Thursday night by WA Police and charged with allegedly possession child pornography last Saturday.
The sex fiend was only released on August 6 after serving five years jail for trying to rob a mother at knifepoint in front of her baby daughter.
Notorious paedophile Bradley Pen Dragon, who has a history of violence, has been arrested on child porn charges less than two weeks after being released from prison.
He served his full sentence without parole and was back in custody to face court on Friday, according to WAToday.
Pen Dragon, 57, spent 13 years in a Thai prison for violently abusing children and was deported back to Perth in 2006.
Just two years later he was caught with child pornography but while serving a suspended sentence again downloaded vile images and was jailed for three years.
Less than 10 weeks after his release in 2012 he tried to rob the 38-year-old woman as she put her 11-month-old daughter in her car.

Pen Dragon watched as the woman then got in the passenger seat before jumping into the car through the left rear door.
He reached across the baby in her car seat, grabbed her mother by the neck and threatened her with a large kitchen knife.
She bravely wrestled the knife from his grasp and fought him off before he fled, suffering cuts to her right hand in the process.
The serial offender pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with intent to rob but claimed he didn’t know there was a child in the car.

His lawyer at the time argued he was desperate because Pen Dragon was struggling to find somewhere to live due to his notoriety.
Despite his long and violent criminal history, Pen Dragon did not fall under WA’s Dangerous Sexual Offenders Act, which allows for sex offenders to be locked up indefinitely or subjected stringent release conditions.
‘It is only appropriate for the ODPP to say that Mr Dragon is not a person who falls within the definition of section 8(1) of the Act and no application can therefore be made,’ the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions told WAToday.
