They announced their engagement joy to the world on Thursday, after he popped the question after a showing of The Lion King at London’s Lyceum Theatre earlier in the week.
And while Vogue Williams, 32, has openly admitted she is head over heels for Spencer Matthews, 28, it seemed it wasn’t always that way as unearthed tweets show the Irish model slamming her husband-to-be.
Seemingly an avid viewer of Made in Chelsea, the reality show in which Spencer first rocketed fame, the beauty wasn’t adverse to giving some very outspoken commentary on Twitter, particularly when it came to former love rat Spencer.
How times have changed! Vogue Williams slammed her new fiance Spencer Matthews in a series of unearthed tweets written during his stint on reality show Made in Chelsea
‘Spencer is such a drama queen #shutup,’ she tweeted back in April 2013, when Spencer’s storylines included the demise of his relationship with Louise Thompson, after it was revealed he had cheated, and the blossoming of his romance with Lucy Watson.
And her critique of Spencer didn’t end there, with Vogue even siding with Lucy when she split with the ex lothario – a break-up that was once again due to his infidelity.
‘I think Lucy is my favourite person in MIC and a total babe too,’ she gushed on the social networking site.

Other tweets saw Vogue poke fun at the Chelsea lifestyle, remarking that their nights out looked about as fun as spending the evening in a library.
‘The bars they go to in made in Chelsea look as about as interesting as a library!’ she mocked, before telling a friend: ‘@vickinotaro @makeup_bynadia looks so boring,id be way too drunk for those places!’
Though fans shouldn’t be too shocked by the tweets, as Vogue admitted she was pleasantly surprised by Spencer when they met during last year’s instalment of The Jump and enthused he was nothing like he appeared in Made in Chelsea.
She confessed: ‘Spencer’s not what people think he is from the TV show.
‘He was 18 or 19 going into the TV show living his life like a normal guy. He’s grown up. He’s not like that any more. If you met him, you would think he was such a lovely person.
