WA driver gives police ridiculous excuse for speeding

A dangerous motorist who was clocked doing 20km over the speed limit presented police with a rather obscure excuse for his crime.

Police officers from Mandurah in Western Australia pulled over a driver travelling at 82km in a 60km zone on Tuesday and were baffled with the explanation.

The driver was fined $400 and when questioned by officers, he said he was late for his dog’s pedicure appointment.
