South Sydney Rabbitohs star Tom Burgess’ fiancée Tahlia Giumelli is currently in hotel quarantine with the pair’s two children at a luxury Gold Coast resort.
And on Sunday, the NRL WAG, 29, revealed that it ‘hasn’t been easy’ being confined inside the Novotel hotel in Surfers Paradise – and away from her doting partner.
Tahlia shared a relatable picture of her ‘messy’ quarantine room on Instagram, after trying to entertain her young children Sophie, two, and eight-month-old Elodie for over a week without leaving the property.
Difficult: NRL WAG Tahlia Giumelli, 29, has revealed it ‘hasn’t been easy’ being in hotel quarantine after she was given special permission to fly to Queensland to be with partner Tom Burgess. Both pictured
‘Can’t wait to be out of one room. All three of us together has been… interesting!’ she wrote alongside the image. ‘Excuse the mess!’
The picture in question showed toys, outfits and clothes tossed around the room while little Sophie – dressed as Emma Watkins from The Wiggles – stood on her tiptoes to look on the bed.
Tahlia also uploaded a throwback photo of Tom with Sophie, writing: ‘Sophie is so excited to see daddy. We have been counting down the sleeps.

‘I know both kids will be so happy to be back with Tom. It hasn’t been easy but will all be worth it.’
She also posted a countdown of when the family will finally be released from quarantine, which is in three days’ time.
The family were given special permission to leave their Sutherland Shire mansion to support Tom after the NRL was forced to relocate its 16 teams to three bubbles in Queensland last month, to escape growing Covid outbreaks in NSW and Victoria.
While they’re unable to leave the apartment, the view is certainly something to marvel at – showing the Gold Coast’s beach, beautiful sunset and the hotel’s pool and tennis court.
Close to 500 Sydney-based family members are spending 14 days at the Novotel hotel, before joining their NRL star partners in their respective hubs.

The league’s relocation to Queensland will cost upwards of $12million a month, and WAGs were only given clearance to fly in from Sydney after the NRL sent detailed applications for each individual.
The family members will stay on different levels of the Novotel hotel, defined by the regions of Sydney they have come from.
Families from Sydney’s south-west will be separated from families coming from the east and inner-west, given the restrictions applied to certain local government areas.
The wives, girlfriends and children are not allowed to use the pool and there are three different dining halls for the three groups – which can only be used at different times.

Daily Mail Australia understands some of the families have removalists on standby in the likely event the competition is permanently moved to Queensland, facing two to three months in their new bubbles.
They are subject to Queensland Health’s Covid testing, meaning the state’s authorities will handle any positive cases rather than the NRL.
The women and children are believed to be divided into the same groups as their NRL player partners, who will be based in the three hotels across south-eastern Queensland.
After completing their quarantine they will be able to join them in their teams’ NRL hub.
