Horror car crash ‘kills five people’ as a truck smashes into a vehicle on a major highway
Up to five people have been killed in a horror crash after a truck smashed into a car in Warwick.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on the New England Highway on Wednesday night.
Police have closed the northbound lanes near the intersection of Sawmill Road at The Summit in the Southern Downs.
A diversion for northbound traffic will be put in place via Granite Belt Drive.
Delays will be extensive and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
