This is the moment boyhood Liverpool fan Josh Woods found out he would be playing against them in the FA Cup.
Woods, 24, is a forward for League Two side Accrington Stanley and is more used to assignments against Swindon Town or Newport County.
But in January he will travel with his side to play the Premier League leaders at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup – and it means the world to him.
His family member Connor captured his elated reaction on video as they tuned in to the third-round draw on the BBC.
The striker jumps around the living room, screaming and clapping his hands together and celebrating with his dear ones after hearing that he could play in the game of a lifetime.
‘Dreams do come true wow!’ he posted on social media as the clip of him celebrating starts to go viral.
Accrington Stanley star Josh Woods was overjoyed when his side were drawn to face Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup at Anfield
He has already scored once in the FA Cup this season – could he do it again against the Reds?
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate had some encouraging words for the forward on X
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate – who could well face up against Woods in January – had some encouraging words as he wrote ‘Let’s go’ on X with a love heart and fist-bump emoji.
‘See you soon big man,’ Woods replied.
He certainly sticks a chance of scoring as he has hit a respectable four goals in 15 outings this season, most of those off the bench.
It helps to humanise footballers and shows how so often they are just like other fans of the beautiful game – but also good enough to live their dream.
Accrington have never played Liverpool in a competitive fixture and will hope to pull off what would be one of the most iconic giant-killings of recent memory, with Arne Slot’s side only having lost to Nottingham Forest this season.
Stanley have beaten non-league outfit Rushall Olympic (Woods scored in that game) and fourth-tier rivals Swindon to reach this stage of the competition.
Either side of the game they will have matches against Newport and Notts County – but this one stands out.
The Lancashire side have made the fourth round only five times in their history, most recently in the 2022-23 season when they lost 3-1 to Leeds United.
