Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic perfectly excuted an incredible trick shot – calling ‘bounce’ just moments before taking the long-range jumper.
Cameras caught Doncic saying ‘bounce’ to teammate Dereck Lively II, who was holding an NBA TV microphone. The Slovenian star then sent the ball towards the net from well beyond the left hash and near the sideline.
The high-arching shot then bounced in the paint and made its way into the basket – just as the five-time All-Star had predicted.
Doncic has been converting much more than trick shots this season. He averages nearly a triple-double per game with a mind blowing 34.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 9.5 assists through 47 games.
His heroics throughout the season have led the Mavericks to a 32-23 record heading into All-Star break. Dallas currently sits in seventh place in the Western Conference.
