Watch the hilarious moment a Wolves fan is caught on camera in PANTS attempt to distract Bournemouth’s Justin Kluivert before he took a penalty at Molineux

A Wolves supporter desperately tried to distract Bournemouth’s Justin Kluivert by pulling down his trousers as he stepped up to take a penalty at Molineux.

In hilarious footage which quickly went viral on social media, the fan bared his pants and lifted up his coat in direct view of Kluivert.

But despite his friend’s best efforts to draw the forward’s attention to the bizarre scene, Kluivert kept his cool and rolled into the net to seal his hat-trick.

Pressure once again mounted on Wolves head coach Gary O’Neil in the wake of the 4-2 defeat, with his side in the relegation zone in 18th and a point adrift of safety.

Kluivert, the son of Barcelona and Netherlands great Patrick, became the first player in 67 years to score a hat-trick of penalties in a Premier League game and burst the home side’s bubble by ending their four-game unbeaten run.

Indeed, the Cherries flew out of the blocks and scored three times in the opening 16 minutes, leaving the uneasy Wolves crowd audibly frustrated.

But even after pulling down his trousers, he was unable to prevent Kluivert from converting

Kluivert netted a hat-trick of spot-kicks in Bournemouth’s 4-2 victory at Molineux

Bournemouth’s £40million striker Evanilson won all three spot-kicks and was fouled twice by Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa, including the clumsy incident which opened the door for Kluivert to stroke home his third goal of the afternoon.

A loose back pass released Evanilson into the area and as Sa looked to reach the ball first, he clipped the frontman, bundling him to the floor.

Kluivert was the man entrusted to restore Bournemouth’s two-goal cushion and he did so with aplomb, firing into the bottom corner and sending Sa the wrong way. 

That was in spite of the side-splitting attempt from the supporter to put him off.

The man in question was positioned roughly halfway up the stand and almost directly in the middle, likely placing him in the eyeline of the penalty taker.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he pulled his trousers down to his ankles and hoisted up his coat, with his friend pointing to his bare torso for added effect.

But after Kluivert scored, the fan quickly pulled his trousers back up and sat down.

‘Incredibly disappointing and self-inflicted,’ O’Neil said. ‘Some crazy, crazy errors there, especially early in the game. It’s very difficult then, once you start as we did. 

‘The lads are equally disappointed. 

‘There’s an understanding in there of what the difference was today compared to the last few, and we need to turn our attentions quickly to Wednesday with a big test away Everton that we can go and get something from.’
