Wayne Rooney has a dismal winning percentage as a manager of just 26.1 per cent following Birmingham’s 3-0 defeat to Leeds on Monday.
The Blues were no match for the promotion chasers at Elland Road and conceded two first goals from Patrick Bamford and Daniel James before Crysencio Summerville capped off the win in the 67th minute.
The ninth loss in 15 games under the former Derby manager saw the visitors stay in 20th place in the Championship and extended Rooney’s woeful run, not just at St Andrew’s.
The Manchester United legend has had spells in charge at Pride Park, in MLS with DC United and now in the Midlands with the Blues but has only managed to secure a win in just over a quarter of his games.
Rooney’s record sees him well below many of his former colleagues at club and international level.

When compared to Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, Rooney comes out the worst.
Former Liverpool skipper Gerrard, who won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers before presiding over an underwhelming stint at Aston Villa, leads the way with a winning percentage of 57.1 per cent.
Gerrard now manages Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq, though his team are trailing some way behind the division’s big hitters with their monied mega stars.
Lampard has the second-best record among the ex-golden generation members. The former Derby, Chelsea and Everton manager has a 41.3 per cent winning percentage.
Neville is next with 35.7 per cent, while Scholes narrowly avoids last place with a percentage of 30.8.
Birmingham fans reacted angrily to this team’s latest poor showing, with supporters in the away end chanting for Rooney to ‘get out’ of their club.
Last week, the club distanced themselves from a report that they are plotting an ‘audacious’ swoop for Steve Cooper should results not turn around at St Andrew’s.
