Weed family busted running nationwide marijuana operation

The mother of three brothers busted for running a ‘nationwide marijuana operation’ was arrested on Thursday after she made threats against an Oklahoma City police officer.

Margery Weed, 54, is accused of making threats against the officer in recorded jail conversations she had with her son, Brandon Clay Weed, 20, who is being held on $1million bond on six felony drug charges.

Brandon and his brothers, Jason Tyler Weed, 25, and Eric Weed, 21, were all arrested on separate marijuana-related arrests in Oklahoma City over the past year.

Members of the family have been arrested six times since January 2016. Seizures in the arrests included more than 60 pounds of marijuana, marijuana wax, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, $90,000 in cash and firearms, according to the affidavit, reported The Oklahoman.

Police say they intercepted jailhouse phone conversations between Brandon and his mother, during which Margery repeatedly threatened to kill the officer who arrested her son.

On November 15, Margery told her son that his lawyer ‘better get to…[the officer] before I do’ and that if he arrested her ‘for nothing, I’ll kill him.’

Two days later, in another phone call, Margery told her son ‘If [the officer] doesn’t leave me the f**k alone I’m gonna kill him…I can’t deal with him anymore…him and his people.’

In the third phone call on November 20, Margery described a dream in which she was walking through the officer’s neighborhood and stood in front of his house.

Brandon reportedly responded: ‘He got so pissed when I said he had a nice house,’ to which his mother laughed.
