Harvey Weinstein’s estranged wife is seeking support from Huma Abedin – a woman who’s husband has been the center of a similar sex scandal.
Two sources told Page Six that Georgina Chapman reached out to Abedin over the weekend as more women came forward accusing Weinstein of sexual misconduct.
Abedin’s ex Anthony Weiner has made headlines several times for his sexting. Next month, he’s due to report for prison where he will serve a 21-month sentence for sending a lewd image to a minor.
Chapman and Abedin met through Weinstein, who has been a major donor to Abedin’s boss, Hillary Clinton, over the years.

It appears that the two women began a friendship, since Abedin attended Chapman’s daughter’s birthday party in the Hamptons this summer.
A source close to Chapman told Page Six: ‘One of the people Georgina has reached out to is Huma, who has been through this kind of scandal and media storm, and survived with her dignity intact. They are both mothers, they have both been in a situation where their husbands turned out to be a different person than the man they thought they knew.’
A separate source confirmed that Chapman reached out to Abedin over the weekend, as well as number of crisis advisers and PR pros.
On Tuesday, Chapman announced that she was leaving Weinstein after 10 years of marriage.

‘My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions,’ Chapman said.
After learning that his wife was filing for divorce, Weinstein told Page Six: ‘I am profoundly devastated. I have lost my wife and kids, whom I love more than anything else.’
On Wednesday, Clinton said that she would be donating the amount that Weinstein gave to her campaign to charity.
Clinton, who remained silent for five days after the Weinstein scandal broke, told CNN Wednesday ‘There’s no one to give it back to. What other people are saying, what my former colleagues are saying, is that they’re going to donate it to charity, and of course I will do that.’
Clinton added ‘I give 10 per cent of my income to charity every year, this will be part of that. There’s no doubt about it.’
Weinstein raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for Clinton, going back to her first campaign for a U.S. Senate seat in New York.
