Weleda’s Calendula Shampoo bought once every two minutes

Choosing a shampoo that works for your young ones can be difficult, with mothers only too aware of the chemicals that are used in some products on the market.

But now, hundreds of of parents have shared the one product they swear by – Weleda’s Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash.

The shampoo – which is priced at £7.50 for a 200ml bottle and is designed for babies – is bought by shoppers once every two minutes in the UK, it has been revealed by the brand.

And fans have taken to Amazon to say the shampoo and body wash is not just for youngsters, with dozens of adults with sensitive skin admitting that they use it too.

The product’s natural ingredients, which includes sweet almond oil, sesame seed oil, and calendula flower extract, has been praised by shoppers, including those who suffer from skin conditions such as eczema.

Weleda describes the product as a ‘perfectly gentle wash’, and says the ingredients help lift dirt, as well as preventing dryness.

According to fans, the body wash – which is suitable for vegans – works wonders on sensitive skin.

Parents meanwhile have noted that the product does not sting the eyes of their youngsters when washing their hair.
