Wellness influencer Laura Henshaw looks unrecognisable in throwback snap as she shares memories from her teenage years

Laura Henshaw looked unrecognisable as she shared a throwback snap to her Instagram on Friday.

The wellness influencer, 31, took to her Stories to share a photograph of herself from 13 years ago at the age of 18, alongside a recent smiling selfie in her workout gear.

In the throwback snap, she looked strikingly different with long platinum blonde locks, in comparison to her now recognisable brunette look.

Laura humorously reflected back on her teenage years growing up in Melbourne in an accompanying caption.

‘Hehehe just got this FB memory from 13 years ago – DEAD. Me now vs me at 18,’ she penned.

‘Also for anyone who grew up in Melbourne – Room 680 on Thursdays was the GOAT,’ before later clarifying that she actually meant Tuesday nights.

Laura is now a successful fitness influencer and runs the Keep it Cleaner brand with Steph Claire Smith.

She recently gave her 326,000 Instagram followers an insight into what a day in the life of a CEO looks like by sharing a list which detailed her busy schedule.

Revealing her daily routine, Laura explained how she wakes up at 6.45am each day to meditate, before starting work at 8.30am.

She heads to healthy fast food chain Fishbowl for lunch, and spends a total of 10 hours of the day in meetings, before catching the train home at 7pm to have dinner with her husband Dalton.

Laura and Steph recently took an exciting step in their fitness and wellness business as they celebrated a new brand deal in January.

The pair posed in pink activewear for a photoshoot in Bondi to confirm their brand deal with popular activewear label STAX.

It is not the first mega brand deal the longtime friends have landed, with Laura having teamed up with brands such as Jaggad and Bumble in the past.

Laura and Steph have made a multimillion-dollar empire out of their KIC brand and podcast, on which they regularly talk about body positivity and health.

The pair recently discussed how difficult it is to maintain exercise and weight loss goals as New Year’s Resolutions.

Steph said less than 10 per cent of people succeed in sticking to them, and encouraged listeners develop small and manageable steps toward their goals.

‘A lot of these challenges are built on a mindset of achieving more. It’s about setting habits that you can sustain,’ she explained.

She added that people needed to be kinder to themselves by allowing some leeway when it comes to challenges such as losing weight in the new year.
