Wendy Williams’ vow to leave her husband if another woman had his child has resurfaced this week, after his mistress gave birth to their lovechild.
The 54-year-old daytime TV star said in her 2001 memoir it would be one of the only things that would make her part ways from Kevin Hunter, 46, once and for all after revealing he’d already cheated on her earlier on in their relationship.
Williams – who married her manager in 1997 and has a son named Kevin Hunter Jr with him – wrote in Wendy’s Got the Heat: ‘The only thing that would make me walk out for good is if he lied about anything – if he was in love, if she was just as successful at what she does as I am in my career, if she had his baby.’

Hunter has been in a relationship with 33-year-old Sharina Hudson and Williams relapsed in her sobriety after learning he was to become a father again.
The Wendy Williams Show host was rushed to hospital Monday after she got intoxicated despite living in a sober home in Long Island City, New York.
Her book from 18 years ago details how she reacted when learning Hunter was unfaithful the first time around.
‘In those forty-five seconds my woman’s intuition kicked in and I knew he was on the phone with a lover,’ Williams said. ‘No woman deserves this. … I wanted to kill him. I mean really kill him. For real. I wanted to kill him more because I was in the process of breaking my Number One Rule: No Cheating.’

The talk show host admitted she hired a private investigator to get the details she was eager to know about her spouse’s other love interest.
She ended up sneaking a look at the woman by visiting her work place.
‘I needed to know if she was in love? Was he in love?’ she wrote. ‘Were condoms used? Is she pregnant? Was she laying up in the Marriott with him?’
Williams has been open about her past struggles with recreational drugs but said in her memoir that she stayed sober despite her relationship problems with her second husband, Hunter, in the past.
The chatty presenter shared that she didn’t cave in because she was concerned she’d have to raise her son alone.
‘I thought I might end up being a single mother and I needed to be on point,’ she wrote. ‘I did not think about picking up a drink, a joint, coke or anything.’
Now Hunter Jr is now a 19-year-old Florida college student but has been hanging out backstage this spring break while Williams films her show in New York.
On Wednesday, Williams and Hunter put on a united front in New York amidst reports Hunter just had a baby with Hudson.
The pair went to a commercial address after Wendy drove into a car park in Midtown Manhattan where she swapped cars and left with him before heading to the office in a bid to go undetected.

‘Wendy is considering divorcing Kevin. She’s really distraught over the situation, she knew about Sharina but didn’t think a baby would arrive, she didn’t think Kevin would go this far, she’s lost and everyone is worried for her,’ a source recently told DailyMailTV added.
Just last week, DailyMailTV exclusively revealed that Hunter told his mistress he can’t leave his wife of 22 years because she paid all the bills and is having the affair right under Williams’ nose.
It’s understood the affair is at the root of Williams’ dependence on alcohol and prescription drugs.
When she returned to her daytime TV slot this month, Williams told her fans about her past addictions that had crept back: ‘Crack is wack. I was a mess, killing myself. I realized I am a walking addict. You can’t just clean it up and stop it. You never know when it can pop up. I constantly have to watch the inside of my body because of hard partying, just a mess.’

Williams defended her marriage on her show earlier this month, saying: ‘Marriages are not easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see [my wedding ring] gone – it ain’t going’
But she has also maintained she was not parting ways with Hunter.
Williams defended her marriage on her show earlier this month, saying: ‘Marriages are not easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see [my wedding ring] gone – it ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime.’
Williams’ first husband this week opened up about his short marriage with the then-radio host. They got together in 1992, married in 1994 and split in 1995.
‘It was very bizarre. She just turned into a different person,’ Bert Girigorie told RadarOnline about the presenter who showed worrying signs she was unwell last October when she collapsed live on air.
He added about his ex – who returned to the air this month after a two-month hiatus that she said was brought on by Graves’ disease: ‘I don’t know what was going on. I didn’t understand a lot of things that she did. I didn’t understand what her motivations were.’
Last week Williams broke down in tears on her show, admitting she had been living at a sober home and was attending meetings around New York City
