West Ham and Brighton have ‘joined the race to sign Spezia defender Emil Holm’… with ‘Inter Milan and Juventus also keen’ on the Sweden international

West ham and Brighton have joined the race to sign Spezia defender Emil Holm, according to reports.
The Sweden international international was a bright spark on his debut season for the Italian side having returned from a loan spell with former club SönderjyskE.
Holm made 20 appearances in Italy’s top flight last season, with a goal and two assists to his name despite Spezia’s relegation from Serie A.
The 23-year-old is attracting interest from Serie A clubs as well Premier League duo Brighton and West Ham, according to Calciomercato.
Inter Milan, Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta and Torino are also interested in Holm, with Simone Inzaghi’s side in pole position.

Spezia want £12.8million for the right-back and will not be keen to negotiate below that price following their demotion to Serie B.
West Ham are likely to be active in the transfer market in the coming weeks after receiving a British record £105million from Arsenal for captain Declan Rice.
As well as their interest in Holm, the Hammers are West Ham are exploring a move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
Hammers boss David Moyes is willing to offer Maguire, 30, a chance of a fresh start elsewhere in the Premier League but the former United captain would need to take a substantial pay cut to fit in with the Hammers’ wage structure.
Meanwhile, Brighton expect to include their midfielder Moises Caicedo in their squad that leaves for the US on Monday.
The Ecuador international has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, but neither club has come close to matching the Seagulls’ £100million asking price.
