West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse is reportedly set to join Nottingham Forest on loan.

The England international joined the hammers from Southampton for £30million last summer and went on to make 52 appearances, scoring seven goals.

However, he has played just 16 minutes under new head coach Julen Lopetegui having come.on as a substitute in the opening weekend defeat by Aston Villa.

Ward-Prowse now looks set to leave having fallen down the pecking order, with a loan deal in place between West Ham and Forest according to The Athletic.

West Ham have already strengthened their midfield this summer with the signing of Guido Rodriguez from Real Betis.

The same publication claim the east London side are in talks with PSG over a move for Spanish midfielder Carlos Soler.

Ward Prowse would become Forest’s 10th summer signing which includes midfielders Elliot Anderson and Marko Stamenic.
