West Ham superfan Danny Dyer shares his reaction to daughter Dani’s engagement to footballer Jarrod Bowen

Danny Dyer has hailed Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen the ‘most beautiful couple in the world’ upon their engagement.

The former EastEnders actor, 46, was thrilled to see that his daughter is set to tie the knot with West Ham and England player Jarrod, both 27.

The Love Island winner revealed the happy news in an Instagram post on Sunday and Danny was quick to comment.  

 He wrote: ‘The most beautiful couple in the world. Right….better start writing that speech. Love you both so much.’

Danny is a loyal supporter of West Ham United and recently admitted that when he met his future son-in-law he wasn’t sure what to say to him.

But upon meeting Jarrod at a family gathering for Bonfire Night, he knew instantly that it was ‘true love’ between the pair.

He told TalkSport: ‘ What do you say to him? I wanted to take his shoes off for him, put his feet up on the settee, give hm a nice massage. But you don’t wanna go in too strong! 

‘All I wanna see, like any father, is my daughter in love and when they’re not with the right person , they’re not the same. There’s something not right. 

‘And she was my Dani in front of him. That’s love. He gets her and it’s a beautiful thing Maybe I encouraged it a little bit too much but it’s true love with them two. ‘

Dani and Jarrod have twin daughters Summer and Star, 15 months, together but she also has Santi, three, with her ex-partner Sammy Kimmence.

The happy couple announced their engagement with a series of photos on Instagram on Sunday.

The reality TV star had been spotted in the stands with her dad Danny, 46, and sister Sunnie, 17, to support her boyfriend and England player Jarrod.

But after a much happier turn of events, she posed for photos with her husband-to-be and flashed a smile. 

‘The most perfect day ever, so so happy!,’ Dani captioned the Instagram post.
