Westlife are set to release their epic new single My Hero following their incredible performance at the Pride Of Britain Awards.
The beloved foursome took to the stage at the award show on Saturday night for a performance which aired to millions on ITV on Thursday evening, as the band unveiled the track for release in conjunction with their tour tickets on Friday.
Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne delightedly revealed that My Hero, co-written by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, has ‘strong significance’ to them as they delighted in their chart return.

My Hero is an emotional new ballad from their new album Wild Dreams’, was played to more than five million viewers tonight during the Pride Of Britain finale .
The epic performance saw Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian in sensational form as they were joined on stage by this year’s award-winners.

The new video sees the foursome in the studio performing a classic acoustic version of the track, has also been released.
My Hero’s release follows Westlife’s return to music last month with the announcement of their new album and upcoming tour.
Westlife fans were left heartbroken when a number of the band’s planned dates were axed throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

So devotees of the group were delighted to hear the group are headed on the road next year on The Wild Dreams Tour, which will take them across the UK’s biggest arenas as well as a new album.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Kian, 41, said: ‘After the terrible 18 months we’ve all had, we’re giving this tour our all. I think it’ll be the best Westlife tour yet with some amazing surprises thrown in.’
Following endless delays in the live music industry throughout the pandemic, Westlife are delighted to announce they will be touring once again.
Kian said: ‘Me and the lads missed each other throughout the lockdown and didn’t see each other for well over a year so it is going to be fantastic to get back on the road together again next year!…
