On Wednesday, Channel Nine confirmed its lineup for 2018, finally revealing it would produce a local version of the hit UK dating series Love Island.
It would also be creating another series of Underbelly, this time following the story of infamous criminal Mark ‘Chopper’ Read.
The colourful underworld figure was previously played on-screen by Eric Bana in the 2000 film Chopper.

Later this year Nine will debut its cooking show Family Food Fight, a reality TV show which promises to pit ‘diverse and multigenerational’ families against each other in the kitchen.
The show is likely trying to capitalise on the success of MKR and MasterChef, which ruled the ratings on other networks earlier this year.
Meanwhile Channel Nine confirmed it would be bring back its hit shows, with Married At First Sight, Australian Ninja Warrior and The Block all returning.
