What does Meghan Markle’s other hand mean?

Her engagement ring has received plenty of attention.

But a closer look at Meghan Markle’s other jewellery choices could reveal a lot about her personal life.

During her visit to Brixton yesterday she also wore thin gold bands on her right thumb, index and ring fingers.

In traditional palmistry, which foretells the future through studying the hand, wearing a thumb ring indicates motivation, control and aggression.

During her visit to Brixton yesterday Meghan Markle (pictured) wore thin gold bands on her right thumb, index and ring fingers, alongside her impressive engagement ring on her left

Examples of people who wear them include ‘the girl who is the leader of her pack of friends’ and ‘the controlling wife who loves bossing her husband and kids around’, according to spiritualist interpretation.

One palmist website suggests that people who typically wear a ring on their index finger include ‘a freshly appointed king, queen or CEO’ or a ‘celebrity with millions of fans who is ambitious’.

Both rings were worn on Miss Markle’s right hand which, according to palm reading, indicates a ‘stubbornness or need to be in control of your public life’.

Miss Markle has previously been spotted wearing a range of different rings on both hands.

Last year she was pictured wearing three gold bands on her right ring finger, sparking speculation that Prince Harry had bought her a promise ring.

But it soon emerged that they were a combination of a double arrow ring and an interstellar ring from the brand Missoma – prompting a surge in their sales.

Other Royals who also wore rings on their ring index fingers include Queen Anne of Cleves, King Henry VII and Queen Elizabeth I.
