A distraught mum has issued a tearful plea for help finding her daughter who mysteriously vanished almost a week ago.
Tahlia Prior, 27 was last seen on Mills Street in Bentley in Perth’s south at about 5pm last Friday.
Cindy Prior had spoken to her daughter earlier that day about catching up for shopping and lunch the next day.
But Tahlia didn’t show for the planned catch-up or answer any calls which was ‘unusual’, according to her concerned mum.
Ms Prior fought back tears as she issued a desperate public appeal on Wednesday, which coincided with her missing daughter’s birthday.
The pair had planned to have lunch and cook that day.
‘It’s Tahlia’s birthday today and we are really missing her on her special day,’ Ms Prior said.
‘Tahlia is a bright, intelligent young woman, a student a Curtin University. She’s kind friendly and caring, she’s a civil engineer.’

Addressing her daughter, Ms Prior said: ‘Tahlia, it’s your special day today.’
‘We need you to come home. We need you to be at home with us to celebrate your birthday, we are really really missing you on this special day.
‘We think Tahlia is quite vulnerable at the moment, and we are pleading to the public for any information.’
Ms Prior added: ‘Like everyone, Tahlia has her ups and downs, but overall she’s happy and outgoing.’
She expressed extreme concern for Tahlia’s safety and welfare.
‘My family are really really concerned, we are just reaching out to everyone, putting flyers up at Curtin University and around the area she was last seen as widely as we can,’ Ms Prior said.
She added that she has been ‘driving around everywhere’ desperately searching for her daughter.
‘I can’t do it anymore by myself, I need the community’s help,’ she said.
‘Any small detail whether big or small, please reach out.’

Police have ramped up their investigation after a ‘thorough’ search of the Bentley area and released CCTV of Tahlia’s last known movements last Friday.
‘We urgently require public assistance to help get a clearer picture of her movements during this time,’ Cannington Police Senior Sergeant Trisha Stjepic said.
‘She is without a phone and a wallet and may be extremely vulnerable.’
Ms Prior was last seen wearing a dark jumper, sky blue coloured track pants and black sneakers.
She usually wears glasses but is believed to be not wearing them.
Ms Prior is 174cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sights Ms Prior or has any information about her whereabouts is urged to contact WA Police on 131444.
