  • He doesn’t put his phone on silent at night
  • ‘He’s scared his morning alarm won’t go off,’ she said

A girlfriend has called out her partner’s ‘beige flag’ after noticing his unusual daily habit.

Cassandra and her boyfriend Rocky, from Adelaide, have been dating since they were 14 and she quickly picked up on the trait.

She claims he doesn’t put his phone on ‘do not disturb’ at night out of fear he’ll miss his alarm in the morning.

This means all through the night the phone would buzz and light up with each notification received.

Cassandra claimed it as a ‘beige flag’ – something that’s neither good nor bad – and shared a video following a trend that’s surfaced on TikTok.

‘My partner’s beige flag is that he doesn’t put his phone on silent mode throughout the night because he’s scared it means his morning alarm won’t go off,’ text read covering the TikTok video.

‘No matter how many times I tell him, or secretly do it and it still goes off – he just won’t risk it and I have to be consistently woken up all night by all his notifications.’

A fourth said: ‘Sleep mode literally silences all notifications except the alarm.’

‘Cash is a coupon. Bought my coffee with cash? It was free. Got my nails done and ‘paid’ in cash? Also free.

‘If I cannot see the dollar amount leave my bank account then no ‘money’ was spent.’

One boyfriend also admitted her partner has a serious sweet tooth.

‘My girlfriend’s beige flag is that she physically cannot survive without having something sweet after a meal,’ he explained.

‘She doesn’t even do it on purpose, her body just starts searching high and low for chocolate immediately after dinner.

‘She tries to play it off when she’s looking because she’s embarrassed by it but it’s so cute she’s like a little fruit fly.’
