Convenience stores around the country are selling out of a mega popular drink Aussie kids are obsessing over. 

YouTube star Logan Paul and famous boxer KSI released an energy drink called Prime Hydration that fans are scrambling to get their hands on despite being priced at $12. 

Australian stores are being inundated with calls and messages from customers asking if the drink is in stock and there have even been rumours of teens selling bottles to their friends at an inflated price.  

Redfern Convenience Store in Sydney was flooded with young customers after getting a huge order of the energy drink in two flavours on Wednesday and more than 600 bottles flew off the shelves.

Teen fans of Logan Paul, who is also a boxer, have been scouring shops to find the drink in each flavour and displaying the empty bottles in their rooms as a keepsake. 

Some Aussies are even slinging bottles of Prime Hydration for up to $25 on eBay. 

Redfern Convenience Store owner and manager Hazem Sedda told FEMAIL he already has another order of Prime on the way as he predicts his current stock ‘won’t last until the end week’.

He said dozens of the store’s 30,800 Instagram followers have been messaging him asking if and when the drink would be available at his store but due to a strong demand worldwide, it was hard to secure an order.

‘We could have got them a lot earlier but it was really hard to secure big quantities,’ he said. 

‘Because of the popularity of our Instagram, we can’t just get a few boxes, we have to get big quantities.’ 

After sharing Prime was finally in store on social media, Hazem said boys from all the surrounding schools were rushing to the store to buy it, some even scooping up 15 bottles. 

This isn’t the only time Hazem witnessed the excitement around the YouTuber’s drink. 

Knowing about the hype, the first time Hazem received a small shipment of Prime he didn’t advertise it on his popular Instagram page so he could keep it available for local and regular customers.

Nevertheless, it sold out in before the end of the day.

Prime comes in seven different flavours and Hazem hopes to get all of them for customers to try. 

Supermarkets in the UK have also been struggling to keep up with demand for the drink so much so customers are only allowed to by three bottles at a time. 

British fans can buy a bottle of Prime for only £2 but one was listed on eBay for a whopping £10,000 after supermarkets sold out. 

Logan Paul and KSI have a huge young fan based with more than 50million YouTube subscribers between them. 

They were known as boxing rivals who’s matches draw in millions of viewers and streamers online. 

The pair put their rivalry aside to embark on a business venture and launched Prime in September.
