What would The Honey Badger look like bald? A vision of the future of Nick Cummins

Nick Cummins, 30, earned the playful moniker ‘The Honey Badger’ thanks to his stocky frame, speed and bravery – all of which are known traits of the animal.

Perhaps unbeknownst to Nick, however, is the fact that honey badgers are also known for their ‘bald’ appearance thanks to a patch of silvery white fur that streaks across the creature’s back.

Indeed, fans have been wondering whether Nick himself will end up ‘bald as a badger’.

During his date with Cassandra Wood at Sydney’s Wet’n’Wild attraction park on Wednesday night, Nick revealed what could have been a thinning patch of hair.

While it may have been nothing more than a trick of the light, Nick wouldn’t be alone  if he were to be suffering the early stages of losing his famous mane.

Male pattern baldness is the most common type of hair loss and affects around half of all men by 50 years of age.

It comes after Nick proudly told Mamamia that he would never cut off his audience-polarising ringlets or shave off his moustache for a woman.

‘A girl who really loved me wouldn’t put me in a situation like that… Mate, have you heard of that story about Sampson and Delilah – it’s a Bible story. Basically, she cut off his hair and he lost all his strength,’ he explained to the publication.

‘What I’m saying is – this thing right here [points at his moustache] – it’s the key. It’s the key, mate. It’s the mojo,’  he insisted.
