After a two week hiatus, Formula One is scheduled to return this weekend with the USA Grand Prix. 

Max Verstappen is set to compete in his first race since winning his third consecutive Formula One world title.

The Red Bull star finished second in a chaotic sprint race ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix – where he would go on to win fairly comfortably. 

Verstappen has won 13 races to date this year, with Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz the only other drivers to take the chequered flag in first place.

USA Grand Prix – Key information

The USA Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, October 22 at the Circuit of the Americas.

Sunday’s race is due to get underway at 8pm BST / 3pm ET / 12pm PT / 4.30am ACST (Monday) / 5am AEST (Monday morning).

There will be one qualifying session, a Sprint Shootout and a Sprint Race before Sunday’s main event.
