Who killed XXXTentacion?

Police have charged Dedrick Devonshay Williams with XXXTentacion’s murder. Per his charges, Williams doesn’t appear to have been planning to kill the 20-year-old rapper.

Police said early in their investigation they believe the shooting was part of a random robbery. XXXTentacion’s lawyer confirmed that he was in Deerfield Beach, Florida to purchase a motorcycle on Monday.

He said that the rapper may have withdrawn cash to pay for the motorbike. XXXTentacion might have had the money inside a Louis Vuitton bag that was stolen from his car.

XXXTentacion found alive in Ireland

Authorities confirmed XXXTentacion’s death on Monday shortly after the shooting occurred. Still, conspiracy theories have spread online claiming the rapper’s shooting was a stunt.

On Tuesday, old video footage of the rapper declaring: ‘Everybody got to chill the f**k out. No one said I’d died. Relax. I had to hurry up and f**king post so you didn’t think I was dead.

‘I don’t want any of my fans killing themselves. Calm the f**k down, calm your nipples. Calm the f**k down. Chill the f**k out. Okay?’

He ends the video by saying: ‘I’m not dead.’

The video was initially released in response to XXXTentacion pretending to hang himself on Instagram in 2017.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the troubled musician’s death on Twitter on Monday.

‘The adult male that was taken to the hospital has been pronounced dead,’ the police department wrote on Twitter. They identified the victim as XXXTentacion.

As days passed, additional claims surfaced that XXXTentacion turned up alive in Ireland after the shooting. He hasn’t, however.

XXXTentacion memorial

A vigil was held for XXXTentacion on Tuesday. The memorial service wasn’t the somber gathering organizers thought it would be, though.

Geneva Ayala, XXXTentacion’s ex-girlfriend and abuse accuser, attended the memorial. She later posted on Instagram that fans booted her from the memorial after about a half hour.

‘They kicked me out of the vigil. So damn disrespectful. I can’t believe people are that selfish,’ she wrote. ‘I wasn’t even there 25 minutes and I literally got pulled away from the memorial.’

She continued: ‘I just wanted to stay. I wasn’t bothering anyone. This is unfair. I’m absolutely devastated.’

Ayala claimed fans burned items she brought to the vigil.

‘I left those things for him…I can’t believe they’d do that,’ she posted alongside a picture of a pair of burnt headphones.

She has since deleted the post.

A fight broke out during the vigil, too. Ayala tweeted a picture from that altercation, but quickly deleted it.

The fight was between two female fans. It was brief, according to The Blast.
