Fox Sports’ Joy Taylor hit the headlines on Sunday after she was named in a bombshell 42-page workplace misconduct lawsuit.
Skip Bayless was at the center of allegations, with hair stylist Noushin Faraji claiming the TV host offered her $1.5m to have sex with her during their time at the network.
Further allegations were made against executive vice president of content Charlie Dixon, and Taylor – one of the network’s other top on-screen talents.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, a spokesperson for Fox said: ‘We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.’
Here, we tell you all you need to know about Joy Taylor…
Where did she begin her career?
Taylor attended Barry University in Miami, graduating from her broadcast communications course in 2009, while also working at a local radio station.
She eventually became the co-host for the morning drive sports radio show, titled ‘The Zaslow and Joy Show’, alongside Jonathan Zaslow.
She also worked for CBS Sports, hosting ‘Thursday Night Live’ and ‘Fantasy Football Today’ before attention turned to Fox Sports…
How long has she worked at Fox?
Taylor joined the network in March 2016, moving from Miami to Los Angeles to begin her new life on FS1.
Initially she filled in for multiple roles on different shows, including filling in for Kristine Leahy on ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’.
She landed a permanent spot moderating ‘Skip and Shannon: Undisputed’ in August 2016, alongside Skip Bayless and former NFL star Shannon Sharpe.
In 2018, she moved from Undisputed to The Herd with Colin Cowherd, and in 2021 she was given her own radio program: The Joy Taylor Show.
What does she host now?
In September 2022, Taylor became the host of a new FS1 show titled ‘SPEAK’, with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, which airs weekdays from 5pm to 7pm.
Emmanuel Acho is also a regular co-host on the show, and he previously stated his admiration for the way she worked her way to the top at the network.
Does she have a partner?
Taylor was previously in a relationship with former NBA player-turned-coach Earl Watson, and she announced on The Herd in 2018 that the pair were engaged.
Alongside her TV announcement, she posted a loving photo on her Instagram alongside the caption ‘My forever’.
Just over a year later, the couple split in November 2019 – but it is unclear why.
Taylor is not believed to currently be in a relationship, and in 2021 she took to social media to reveal she has no plans to have children.
She wrote: ‘I’ve never wanted kids and I don’t want to be pregnant. If one of your gender [men] can convince me one day then perhaps, but it rests at a firm 99.9% chance of no at this moment.’
