Who is Linda Nolan? Where are The Nolan sisters now?

Linda Nolan has revealed her cancer has spread to her brain in a heartbreaking interview on Good Morning Britain.

The singer, 64, became worldwide phenomenon alongside her singing sisters in the 1970s.

She told presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: ‘I’ve always been hopeful with my treatment and what’s going on in my life.

‘I just want to tell you unfortunately for me my cancer has spread to my brain and that’s obviously frightening because there isn’t much treatment for brain cancer except for chemotherapy.’

She added: ‘I’m not giving up. I’m positive. I’m going to lose my hair again for the fourth time’

On the show Maureen admitted the tragedies of the past decade – which include losing her sister Bernie to breast cancer in 2013 and the divorce from her partner of 28 years Ritchie Hoyle in 2016 – had aged her.

Footage on the daytime show saw Maureen visiting surgeon Peter Cumbo at the Harley Street Skin Clinic, where she underwent a same-day skin peel, neck lift and lower face-lift which involved cutting the skin at the side of her ears, before pulling it back to tighten it.

Months later Maureen showed off the results of her £7,500 procedure and looked incredible.

In an extract from their book Stronger Together, shared by The Mirror, Anne credited Linda for helping her through the therapy, which left her with traumatic side-effects

‘When [other sister] Maureen called to say Linda and I could have our chemotherapy treatment together, I cried with relief. We’ve shared every emotion – the highs and the lows – and we are stronger together because of it,’

Anne previously discussed with MailOnline the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of her later father Tommy Nolan.

Bravely writing: ‘At 11-years old] I trusted him. Maybe this was something dads did with their daughters. My overwhelming reaction was one of puzzlement. I remember thinking to myself: ‘Why is Dad doing this?’.
