Kady McDermott, ‘the blueprint of all bombshells,’ has returned for series 10 of Love Island after first appearing on the show in 2016.

The 27-year-old from Hertfordshire finished third that year with ex-boyfriend Scott Thomas but has returned to find ‘the one’.

After her appearance in one of the show’s early years, Kady was one of the first true ‘influencers’ to come out of  the villa.

Who is Kady McDermott?

Kady McDermott, 27, rose to fame during her appearance on series 2 of Love Island.

Before going in the villa in 2016, she was a make-up artist, and she entered the show before it had the reputation that it does today as an influencer factory.

Nevertheless, Kady left such an impression that she became a huge success on her return, becoming a fully-fledged influencer.

Seven years later, with a whopping 1.2 million Instagram followers to her name, Kady returned for series 10.

She has said that this time, older and wiser, she wants to find the one she can settle down and start a family with. 

What happened to Kady in Love Island series 2?

Despite leaving the villa with a boyfriend, Kady’s most memorable moment was arguably a bust-up with Malia Arkian, which ended with the latter being removed from the programme

Kady was a new entry in the first week of the second series of Love Island, defining the ‘bombshell’ roll, and chose to couple up with Scott Thomas at the first opportunity.

The pair remained ‘coupled up’ for the duration of the show, but not without their ups and downs.

Kady, 20 at the time, was frequently chosen by the other guys in the villa for dates throughout the series, and her and Scott were no strangers to an argument.

However, the pair reached the final and finished third, a it was won by Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey.

Despite reaching the final and leaving the villa with a boyfriend, Kady’s most memorable moment was arguably a bust-up with Malia Arkian, which ended with the latter being removed from the programme.

Kady and Scott stayed together after leaving the show, but did not last too long on the outside.

Myles Barnett 

Two years later, in 2018, Kady got serious with Towie star Myles Barnett – the couple made a number of public appearances together. 

Much like her Love Island romance with Scott, Kady and Myles’ history was up and down, and they finally confirmed their split in 2021.

Matty Cash

Kady dated footballer Matty Cash in 2021.

However, they failed to turn things into a long-term relationship, only dating for a few months.

Mystery man 

More recently Kady was seen in public with an unknown boyfriend a year later in 2022.

Things cannot have quite gone to plan though, with Kady going back on Love Island less than a year after their public appearance.
