Paige Jordae made headlines Monday when she accused NBA star Anthony Edwards of forcing her to get an abortion.
Jordae released alleged text messages between the pair, which purported to show him telling her: ‘Get an abortion… just take the pills.’
Edwards did not deny the claims either, when on Monday he wrote: ‘I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man.
‘All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them. I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time.’

Who is Paige Jordae?
Paige Jordae is an Instagram model, who boats 1.4million followers on the social media platform.
She also owns two Only Fan accounts, the first she labels as ‘VIP’, which has attracted 80,700 followers, according to Marca.
She operates her second account as a lower-budget option, with 29,800 subscribers.
What is her relationship with Anthony Edwards?
It is unclear when she became acquainted or involved with the NBA star but last month Edwards allegedly forced her into getting an abortion.
Screenshots of alleged text messages posted to her Instagram show her telling Edwards that she is expecting a child. His immediate response read: ‘Hell nawl can’t do this.’
He then purportedly told her: ‘Get a abortion lol… I don’t want a kid.’
They included an invoice for a wire transfer of $100,000 – allegedly sent by Edwards to Jordae. Previous ‘text messages’ showed the NBA star offering her money.
On November 27, Jordae apparently took the first dose of abortion pills and sent Edwards the video he requested.

Who is Anthony Edwards’ girlfriend Jeanine Robel?
Jordae’s accusations came just days after his girlfriend posted photos from a maternity shoot to her Instagram.
Edwards and Robel have reportedly been together for a while, despite an eight-year age gap.
The guard appeared to confirm their relationship after a Timberwolves game against the Houston Rockets in January of this year, dedicating his performance to his ‘girlfriend’.
Robel previously had a relationship with rapper Chief Keef, with whom she shares a son, Krue.
