Their parents were some of the biggest stars of the noughties – with their antics regularly filling newspapers and websites across the world.
But now a new generation is stepping into the spotlight with the children of the likes of Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern coming together to form a Gen Z super sqaud.
Giving their mothers a run for money in the glamour stakes is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 15, who joined Nicole at Paris Fashion Week; Ava Phillippe, who often twins with mother Reese Witherspoon on the red carpet and Apple Martin – who made her fashion world debut in 2021 sitting FROW at Dior’s show.
And it’s not just the girls, Naomi Watt’s son Sasha Schreiber and Laura Dern’s son Ellery Walker Harper are making their faces known at LA parties, on catwalks and in the music world.

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban

Sunday Rose Urban – whose father is country music legend Keith Urban – looked like her mother’s twins as they attended the Balenciaga Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week.
At the tender age of 15, Sunday Rose has already dipped her toe into the acting pool, having appeared with her sister Faith Margaret in several HBO productions, including Big Little Lies alongside their famous mother.
Sunday made her on-screen debut as an extra in Big Little Lies (2019), before making another cameo alongside her mother in the gripping 2020 drama The Undoing.
She also appeared in Angry Birds 2.
Now she appears to be making moves in the fashion world. Her mother is an ambassador for Balenciaga.
Sasha Schreiber

In 2016, he starred in Disney’s remake of The Jungle Book when he was just nine years old.
Speaking to Net-A-Porter in 2019, Naomi said both her children have ‘caught the acting bug’.
It seems they’ve got the bug,’ the actress said, adding that her feelings about them heading into showbusiness are ‘definitely mixed.
Earlier this month Naomi wed her husband Billy Crudup for a second time, almost a year to the day after their first courthouse wedding.

An artist – whose father is actor Ryan Phillippe, has built up a huge following online showing off her glamorous lifestyle, after first going viral for her uncanny resemblance to her mother.
As well as delving into modelling, Ava, who recently graduated from UC Berkeley, says he parents are supportive about her exploring different industries.
‘My parents have always encouraged me to choose the path that’s right for me and, you know, guide me along the way to make better choices than I might make,’ she said on Pop Base in 2021.
‘I’m so grateful for that. That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and want you to be who you truly are meant to be.’
As well as working as an artist, Ava has modelled for Rodarte and a number of celeb-owned brands, including Draper James (which her mother owns), Ivy Park (owned by Beyonce) as well as Path McGrat Labs – the make-up artist to the stars.
Ava’s parents, Witherspoon and Phillippe, were together for nearly a decade and married from 1999 to 2008.
In addition to Ava, the former couple also welcomed son Deacon Phillippe, 20, before they announced their separation in October 2006 after seven years of marriage.
Witherspoon is also mum to 11-year-old son Tennessee, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jim Toth.

The daughter of music and acting royalty, now 20, stayed out of the spotlight most of her childhood with her even telling her famous mother off in 2019 when she posted a picture of her skiing without her consent.
But the student wowed when she made her public debut sitting FROW at the Chanel Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week show in January 2023.
And she appears to be following in her mother’s footsteps in more ways than one – she does not use any animal products,
‘My daughter has gotten so into clean, non-toxic beauty, vegan. She doesn’t want to touch anything that’s cruel to animals,’Gwyneth told E! News.
‘So, she has really strong values running. It’s so nice that it aligns with the products that we already make.’
The teen – who is at college in Nashville – has inherited her mother’s famous passion for wellness.
‘In this case, the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree,’ the Shakespeare in Love star noted.
‘Apple is an adult woman now, so we relate to each other like that,’ said the actress.
‘Of course, I’m always her mama, and she comes to me for those things too. But it’s very interesting to really watch her step into herself as a grown woman.’

‘She influences everything I do,’ Gwyneth shared.
‘I run everything by her. I value her opinion so much, and she’s also such a product person—especially with makeup, much more so than I am.

In April, the Friends star went on Minnie Driver’s Minnie Questions podcast and shared her regret of not stepping into certain situations when Coco was younger.
‘I wish so bad I could have realised in the moment a way to protect Coco from things that I didn’t, because of my own issues, whether it was codependency or seeing her in relationships with people I knew this was not good,’ Courteney explained. ‘But I didn’t want to step in, even though I knew something wasn’t right, because she would get so mad at me.’
Recalling some of the conversations the pair would have, the Dirt alum noted, ‘She [would say], ‘Let me deal with it mum, you don’t understand.’ And I did understand, and I should have [trusted] myself and I should have stepped in. So, with certain things about myself, she saw them.’
‘I’m not saying I made her who she is, but you do see things in other people, whether it’s just always taking care of people and being the nicest person,’ Courteney continued.
‘And I mean, that’s one of the things with age, I’ve learned to say no, I’ve learned to have boundaries. But I mean, earlier on when she was a kid, or not even that many years ago, I wish I’d been a firmer parent.’
However, some things came smoothly to Courteney, like her daughter’s easygoing nature when it comes to where she shops.
”Thank God, Coco isn’t into really high-end clothes or designer anything,’ she told Minnie.
‘She doesn’t care about labels.
‘And thank God that she shops for her clothes on Amazon, because she could be this other kid [like] ‘I want fab Gucci.’ And you’d have to spend your whole life saying no.’
Courteney has been vocal about boundaries in the past, telling People in 2022 about her then 17-year-old, ‘We fight. I’ve learned that boundaries are important and to keep them because I know it makes her feel safe. But I’m not always good with boundaries. I get worn out.’
