Hard Chat’s Tom Gleeson has a reputation for roasting his guests – and on Thursday the stand-up comedian took things to the next level.
Tom, 44, was a guest on Adelaide’s Hit107 breakfast show Amos, Cat and Angus on its second-last day on air, after the program was axed in August due to poor ratings.
As reported by News.com.au, it didn’t take long for Tom to begin ruthlessly mocking sacked radio hosts Amos Gill, Cat Lynch and Angus O’Loughlin on their own show.

‘What’s it like to run a station into the ground?’ Tom asked the trio at one point.
‘It was in the ground, we took it up but it’s back in the ground,’ Amos replied.
‘You dug up the corpse and then you buried it again. Well done!’ quipped Tom.

Gleeson saved his hardest punch for last, asking: ‘You were beaten in your last radio survey by Cruise 1323 Classic Hits, an audience which consists only of two old ladies … Why even have a last show when nobody is listening?’
In the most recent round of ratings, released in August, the Hit107 breakfast show was far behind the morning programs of their main FM rivals Mix102.3, Triple M and Nova.
Network Ten newsreader Rebecca Morse, 41, and 39-year-old local media identity Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello will replace the Hit107 breakfast crew on January 21, 2019.
