Why NFL fans are convinced Deshaun Watson has created BURNER account on social media amid criticism

NFL fans have become convinced that they have found the burner account for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson on X as he faces tons of mounting criticism.

The account @LeroyBickers4, under the name Leroy Bickerstaff, does not follow a single account and has exclusively posted positive things about Watson.

There has never been more pressure on Watson to perform, after the Browns let go Joe Flacco, who led the team to a playoff berth last season after Watson suffered a season-ending injury.

Those calling for Watson’s replacement only got more fuel on Sunday, after a dismal performance against the Cowboys, where he only had 169 passing yards and two interceptions.

Here are a few examples of posts from ‘Bickerstaff’.

‘If 4 had a tackle like Trent Williams he’d be able to show his greatness… 4 can’t succeed when he’s got no chance back there.’

‘Yup but we gon come on here and blame 4 when it’s the offense as a whole… give 4 no chance at success when he’s backed up like this every time.’

‘You don’t know me fool go make a frozen meal or sum.’

The account in question has over 1,700 followers as of Tuesday night and is steadily growing as more fans become convinced it is Watson behind the avatar-less user.

In 2022, Watson signed a 5-year, $230million contract with Browns, and has not delivered on that huge money amount, part of the reason Cleveland fans are agitated with him.

The possible revelation comes after Monday’s news that Watson is being sued for more than $1million after being accused of sexual assaulting a woman in Texas four years ago.
