Wieambilla shooting: Gareth and Stacey Train share bizarre videos ranting about police and religion

A series of bizarre video clips has emerged featuring two of the three doomsday prepper cop killers discussing deranged theories about religion and death, and their mistrust in government organisations including the police force.

The clips, believed to feature Gareth and his wife Stacey Train, were posted to a now-deleted YouTube account.

In one video a woman, believed to be Stacey, is heard narrating a handwritten letter where she offers another conspiracy theorist ‘safe refuge’ to stay at her property.

The other woman, ‘Deanna’ is understood to have had concerns the authorities were ‘coming for her children’.

Stacey and Gareth, along with Gareth’s brother Nathaniel, shot dead two police officers at their property in Wieambilla, west of Brisbane, on Monday afternoon.

The murderous trio ambushed four Queensland police officers who were investigating a missing persons report made about Nathaniel Train.

Constables Matthew Arnold, 26, and Rachel McCrow, 29, shot dead at point blank rage, while neighbour Alan Dare was also killed. The Trains were killed in a firefight with elite specialist police later that night.

One of the videos posted in the days before the brutal ambush opens with the title screen from the television program Cops before showing the picture of Nathaniel shared by police when he was reported missing.

A voice, which has been digitally altered and is believed to be that of Gareth Train, then reads out the missing persons report before making a bizarre rant with references to the younger Train brother.

‘I see there was no mention of this missing man being a whistleblower on high level corruption within the New South Wales education department,’ the voice said.

It then refers to ‘connections to the NSW Police organised crime syndicate and the fixated persons branch’ and an ASIO officer posing as a journalist.

‘You wish to make this public by using my little brother,’ the video ends, before showing an image of a large knife and and axe on the table.

Another video, believed to feature the voice of Stacey Train, opens with a satanic picture of skulls with lightning bolts through them.

In the eight-minute video, posted on Monday afternoon just three hours before the siege began, the woman reads from an apocalyptic biblical book called ‘2 Esdras’.

The book was removed from the Bible in the 1880s, and talks about a ‘future age’ which will one day replace the present world order – as well as justifying why God lets evil happen in the world.

In the letter, Stacey, who has two children with Nathaniel – whom she was married to before Gareth – revealed she had become estranged from her adult kids because they ‘chose the world’, and the ‘wider road their partners and friends are on’.

‘This is a pain that will only heal in heaven. Your child is small enough to hold in your arms. You must not let anyone take her from you.’

‘Sometimes they have to kill us because they can’t break out spirit,’ he says in the video from November.

A second video opens with the Cops TV show title screen, along with audio of Bob Marley’s song Bad Boys, as a person, believed to be Gareth, delivers a scathing and foul-mouthed message for Queensland and NSW police officers – individually naming a handful of them.

Footage had earlier emerged of a man and a woman, believed to be Gareth and Stacey, boasting about the cold-blooded killings of the two officers.

The video of the couple huddled in darkness was uploaded at 7.39pm the evening of their brutal ambush, three hours after the couple and their brother Nathaniel shot the police officers.

In the clip, Gareth Train said: ‘They came to kill us and we killed them’. He also refers to the cops as ‘devils and demons’.

Stacey Train then finishes the video saying, ‘we’ll see you when you get home’ and ‘love you, Don’. It is unclear who they are referring to.

About three hours after the video was published, the three Train family members were shot dead by tactical police.

A third officer was shot in the leg but is recovering, while a fourth managed to hide in the bushes until she was rescued by her colleagues.
