Wife is charged with murder after partner was found dead in a house in Epping, north-west Sydney

A woman has been arrested and charged with murder after her partner was found dead in a house.

The man was discovered dead after police were called to perform a welfare check at a home on Damon Avenue in Epping, north-west Sydney, at 11am on Saturday. 

The man has not yet been formally identified, but police believe the man is the woman’s husband.

A woman was arrested and charged on Saturday for murdering the man. Police believe the man is the woman's husband.

The woman was taken to Gladesville police station after being detained in Epping on Saturday morning. 

On Saturday evening the woman, 60, was charged with murder. 

The woman was refused bail and is scheduled to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
