Two men were caught exchanging blows at an intersection of Enmore Road and King Street at Newton, in Sydney’s inner west, on Saturday afternoon.
A terrified bystander filmed the altercation with footage showing traffic building up while the fighters wrestled on the ground.
Two women stepped in and tried to separate the men as they jumped to their feet and continued to trade punches.

The men were pulled apart and directed onto the footpath where the altercation continued.
A woman wearing a jacket was seen taking a swing at one of the men as he pushed her away.
Eventually the woman backed down and walked away.
The 26-second clip was shared on Reddit where social media users weighed in on the matter.
‘That woman in the checkered outfit has huge balls to take on two big dudes fighting. Props to her,’ one person wrote.
‘Just the local Newtown ferals going about their day!’ another added.
‘Lol the cop shop is about 100m away,’ a third person commented.

A NSW police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that officers arrived and found four men allegedly assaulting each other.
A 48-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Upon his release he was taken to Newtown police station and charged with affray.
A 29-year-old man was also charged with affray.
Both appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
The 48-year-old was granted bail, while the 29-year-old was remanded in custody.
They will appear before Newtown Local Court on June 24.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
