Penrith Panthers fans have partied long into the night in Sydney’s west after their beloved footy team claimed a fourth straight NRL premiership on Sunday.
The champions beat Melbourne Storm 14-6 at Accor Australia, scoring three tries to one in their fifth consecutive grand final.
If anyone thought the ecstatic fans might have got a bit tired of winning every title since 2021, the photos from Sunday night told a different story.
There were wild scenes on the streets of Penrith with joy etched on every face among the revellers proudly donning their Panthers jerseys.
A lot of fans held up four fingers for photographers, in case anyone was in any doubt as to how many times in a row the Panthers had won the premiership.
And many of those partying hard also waved the iconic Penrith flag which features the legendary western Sydney panther.
The delighted football tragics held their hands in the air like they just didn’t care – and as Monday is a public holiday in NSW, most of them have don’t have to worry about work in the morning anyway.
Amid spontaneous outbreaks of dancing, the beat was kept by men banging drums to keep time.
Police kept a watchful eye to ensure celebrations didn’t get out of hand.

Motorists passing through Penrith showed lot of patience as jubilant fans spilled on the main roads to express their joy at the Panthers winning another title.
Many motorists joined in by beeping their horns.
Mulgoa Road, one of the main thoroughfares through the suburb was the centre of the chaos as fans danced in the streets.
The wild panther who supposedly roams around the local bushland – and for whom the team is named – may be elusive, but the fans are anything but.
They’ve got the T-shirts and the flags, the replica jerseys and the huge grins on their face as only winners can.

Thousands crammed into the venue to make sure they had the chance to cheer on their team to victory.
The side coached by Ivan Cleary became the first in six decades to win four straight premierships and the first in the NRL era.

With tries from Sunia Turuva, Liam Martin and Paul Alamoti, and a conversion from Nathan Cleary, the Panthers were too strong for the Storm.
Cleary, 26, was instrumental in the battle, though there was almost as much chatter about his soccer star girlfriend Mary Fowler.
The Penrith playmaker did not have Fowler in the stadium to cheer him due to playing for Manchester City on the other side of the world, but plenty of fans watched the game because of her.
‘Shoutout Mary Fowler’s partner on another premiership win,’ one fan posted on social media at full time.
On a glorious night in front of 80,156 fans at Accor Stadium, the Panthers became the first team to win four consecutive premierships since St George won 11 straight from 1956-1966.
Sunday’s win cemented their status as one of the greatest sides of the modern era, while their fans’ celebrations cemented their status too.
