Wippa’s bombshell: The ‘cheating’ scandal you didn’t see on Celebrity Apprentice

The ‘cheating’ scandal you didn’t see on Celebrity Apprentice: Wippa reveals another controversy involving Martha Kalifatidis never made it to air

Celebrity Apprentice star Martha Kalifatidis broke the rules earlier this week by getting her boyfriend Michael Brunelli to bulk-buy ice cream during a challenge.

But that apparently wasn’t the only time the Married At First Sight star, 33, was involved in a cheating scandal on the show.

Fellow contestant Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday there was a second incident involving Martha that didn’t make it to air.

The cheating scandal you didn’t see on Celebrity Apprentice: Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli has revealed there was another controversy involving Martha Kalifatidis that never made it to air

After Martha convinced Michael to spend $950 on her team’s ice cream, she got him to help out again during the subsequent market challenge.

Wippa, 41, claimed that Martha ‘broke the rules’ by selling low-value items to Michael and her friends from a local gym for jacked-up prices.

‘Martha kind of brought in a few big guns. She got the local gym down the road [to show up]. She also brought her boyfriend to the market,’ he alleged.

Wippa went on to say he would have called his friends for favours, but the rules clearly stated this wasn’t allowed.

‘She’s the one that won that challenge, so who am I to complain?’ he added bitterly.

After being caught cheating during the ice-cream challenge, Martha tried to lie about Michael’s involvement during a boardroom showdown with Lord Alan Sugar.

‘This was not about getting your contacts to buy truckloads of ice creams, Martha. It’s not fair to create false sales,’ Lord Sugar warned her.

‘I’ve got to teach you a lesson here. I’m going to strike those sales off the table.’

But even with the ‘false sales’ discounted, Martha and Shaynna Blaze trounced the boys with $1,136 in sales to their $682.50.

That meant Martha was saved and the boy’s team leader, Wippa, was fired.

However, fans watching at home were left fuming.

One viewer said that by letting Martha off the hook on this occasion, Lord Sugar was ‘teaching kids all over Australia that it’s okay to cheat, as long as you win’.

Meanwhile, Wippa can be heard alongside his co-host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald on Nova 6-9am weekdays.
