Wives and girlfriends of NSW Blues State Of Origin show their support for their partners

They are the supportive wives and girlfriends of the NSW Blues Origin team.

And the ladies have shown their support for their partners in the countdown to kick-off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

Among the women gearing up for the first State Of Origin game against Queensland include Kellie Rose, the wife of Penrith Panthers star Tyrone Peachey.

She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and the couple’s one-year-old daughter Isla checking out Melbourne’s famous street art.

The supportive wife is also in the Victorian capital with her friend and fellow Blues WAG Jessica Maloney, who is the wife of Penrith star James Maloney.

She brought their children – son Kade, eight, and daughter Layla Jade, six – along to the Melbourne Museum ahead of their father’s big game.

It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed the new generation of rugby league WAGs accompanying the Blues’ relatively inexperienced Origin side.

With backgrounds ranging from law to construction, there is definitely more to these photogenic women that meets eye.

Kat Hubner began dating Manly-born footy star Tom Trbojevic, 21, last year.

The budding foodie, who works in administration at a construction company, was born in Queensland but insists she has ‘definitely converted’ to New South Wales.   

‘I wasn’t a big league fan before Tom and I dated, but I always watched Origin. There is a real social aspect to the game,’ she told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

‘My family have all had a talking to and I think everyone is on the same page now supporting New South Wales!’

Kat revealed that she and Tom, who is one of the youngest men at camp, were at a family dinner when he got the call confirming he was part of the Origin side.

Celebrating her boyfriend’s triumph, she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday: ‘Proud as punch! Congratulations! Couldn’t be happier for you.’

Elle, who is a member of the legal team at the University of Wollongong, revealed the couple have been dreaming of Origin for years.

She said it was an ‘amazing moment’ when Paul made the team, adding that she was ‘so stoked’ for him.

Tyrone admitted that he was nervous ahead of the Blues announcement and was feeling ‘stressed’ beforehand. 

‘It’s awesome, a surreal feeling,’ Peachey told NSWRL.com.au. ‘I still can’t believe it.’  

‘I was stressed all day and when I got the call it was a massive sigh of relief, I was pumped, I couldn’t stop smiling. All the hard work has paid off and I get to play Origin Wednesday.’
