Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson slammed her teammates for rushing to get a picture with Usher after a 93-85 loss to the Chicago Sky.
Tuesday’s matchup saw the defending WNBA champions on the receiving end of Chennedy Carter’s 34-point explosion, Marina Mabrey’s 15-piece, and Angel Reese’s 16th double-double in 17 games.
Despite a slow game from several Aces, their sense of urgency to get a photo with the pop star frustrated the reigning WNBA Finals MVP. As the players lined up courtside to meet Usher postgame, cameras caught Wilson’s unamused reaction.
‘They ain’t did s*** all day but they wanna take a motherf****** picture with Usher,’ she said while lightly shaking her head.
Wilson then proceeded to hand Usher one of her jerseys as a token of appreciation.

Wilson led the Aces in their losing effort with a team-high 28 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks and three steals as the hit-maker sat courtside in Sin City. Furthermore, Wilson had her sixth straight game with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
While the face of the aces stuffed the stat sheet, three of her fellow stars had considerably slow shifts. Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray each had five assists but struggled with just eight and seven points, respectively.
Additionally, Alysha Clark and Kiah Stokes both clocked in 16 minutes but failed to get on the scoreboard.
On the bright side, Wilson’s front court partner Jackie Young tallied 17 points while Tiffany Hayes came off the Bench to score 19.

Aside from the upset, Las Vegas’ rookie Kate Martin had to be helped off the floor late in the first period after slipping on the court. The former Iowa guard returned to the bench but did not play after.
The Aces have now lost two of their last ten games, both of which came after four consecutive wins. With the loss, Vegas moved to 16-8 for the season.
Meanwhile, the Sky are 5-5 in their last ten with a 10-14 record.
