A 29-year-old woman has been charged with grooming and sexual assault over an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old boy in the ACT. 

Pplice, acting on information received last month, executed search warrants on the woman’s home in Canberra’s northwest, and her vehicle, on Saturday.

She was arrested and charged with grooming a young person and possessing child exploitation material.

The 29-year-old woman was also charged with three counts of committing an act of indecency on a young person under 16 and two counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 16.

She appeared at ACT Magistrates Court on Monday and the matter remains before the courts.
