‘I think you’re disgusting!’ Airplane passenger furiously confronts ‘racist’ man mid-flight after she busted him complaining about sitting next to a ‘huge black woman’ in text messages

An airline passenger has filmed the moment she confronted a ‘racist’ man after she caught him texting a complaint to his family about a member of his traveling party having to sit ‘next to a huge black woman.’
Content creator Taila Rouse detailed the incident that unfolded during a four-hour flight from Puerto Rico to Atlanta this week on TikTok in a series of videos.
‘POV: You decided to confront the racist sitting next to you on your flight,’ the overlaid text on one of Taila’s video reads.
‘You know what I wasn’t going to say anything… but I decided I want you to feel as uncomfortable as I do, and I want you to know that I saw your text messages and I think you’re disgusting,’ Taila is heard saying to the unidentified passenger.

‘What text message,’ the passenger responds.
‘You know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not gonna repeat it cause everybody doesn’t need to know, but I want you to know that I know I saw you and I think you’re disgusting. You don’t have anything to say to that right?’ she replies.
Taila adds: ‘Yeah I didn’t think so… and speaking of airlines weeding people out, maybe if they raise prices….’
The passenger is then heard saying, ‘I’m sorry,’ but Taila is not having any of it.
‘You don’t have to be sorry to me, you’re sorry because I saw it,’ she claps back.
Taila said in a later TikTok she was ‘literally going back and forth’ with herself to decide whether or not she was going to say something, adding her blood was ‘boiling’ and she was ‘fuming.’
One TikTok user praised the creator for calling the passenger out.
‘I’m proud of you and don’t even know you. I know the back and forth with yourself on this was hard and you did that,’ their comment read.

Taila also shared a video of the man texting on his phone before zooming on the contents of the messages.

The caption on Taila’s video reads: ‘I started recording after reading more than one racist/homophobic remark… At this point the text was for me.’
Another TikTok user asked: ‘How was the rest of the flight? Did he try to change seats?’
Taila said they continued to sit next to each other for the next four hours and showed the man with his back turned to her.
‘He wouldn’t even think in my direction when the plane landed,’ she quipped.
