Woman disgusted when Uber driver pees in cup in Atlanta

A woman was left in disbelief after her Uber driver peed in a cup while driving her in the Atlanta area.

Tirhas Hailu was recently picked up from the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport when she noticed her driver reaching for his cup.

‘He started getting a cup and when he got a cup, I’m thinking, this guy is gonna get a drunk or something,’ she said to 11Alive.com. ‘He put the cup in between his legs.’

As they traveled down the highway, she claims that he urinated in the cup.

Sitting in the back seat, Hailu decided to pull out her phone and take video and photos for evidence.

‘Very unexpected; very disgusting behavior,’ Hailu added.

When they reached her destination, Hailu recorded the man’s response when she asked why he thought that was appropriate.

‘Because I didn’t want to do it on myself,’ he said.

Uber soon released a statement, condemning the behavior and stated that it removed the driver’s access to the app.

‘This is completely unacceptable and we apologize for this rider’s poor experience,’ they said.

Hailu declared that because of the experience, she wouldn’t ride with Uber.
