An ecstatic woman has embraced her multi-millionaire partner outside court after a string of domestic violence charges against him were dropped.

Carlo Paul Massetti, 45, from Bondi in Sydney’s east, was accused of assaulting his girlfriend Danielle Prebble on three separate occasions in 2018.

The five-time Lotto winner was able to walk free after Ms Prebble failed to show up as a key witness in court, forcing the police prosecutor to drop all seven charges.

But Ms Prebble, who authorities were unable to find, had been standing outside court throughout the entire hearing.

Mr Massetti was charged with assaulting his partner on three separate occasions in June, July and November of 2018, the Southern Courier reported.

Among the string of offences included a domestic violence charge.

He has previously pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He was freed from the charges at Waverley Local Court on Thursday but was sentenced to an 18-month community corrections order on one count of contravening a domestic violence order, 9News reported.

The offence was related to an incident where he took Ms Prebble’s phone off her and threw it into a toilet during a night out drinking on June 26, 2018.

The happy couple shared a passionate kiss outside court and walked down the street holding hands.

Mr Massetti said he plans to a start a family with Ms Prebble after his name was cleared of the charges.

‘I think we are going to get on with our lives the best we can and put all this behind us,’ he said outside court.

Ms Prebble was unable to be found by police and a phone number under her name was disconnected.

She had initially told police she had moved to New Zealand.

But she had been outside the court supporting her partner throughout the hearing.

‘It was a tactic for Carlo to be let free. The charges against him were pretty harsh,’ she said.

‘I know that Carlo was a good man. He gives me love.’

The verdict comes after Mr Massetti spent the past three months in custody for breaching a court order in August.
