This is the moment a woman in a village churchyard got up from her mobility scooter to push a teenage girl into a fountain while allegedly holding a beer.
Student Dainius Nevardauskas was waiting for a friend in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, when he claims he watched a ‘drunken’ girl ask for a cigarette from two teenagers.
When the request was refused, Mr Nevardauskas said a brawl broke out involving hair-pulling, swearing and one youth being shoved headfirst into a water feature.
Shocking footage shows the moment the teen is pushed sideways into the water before she jumps up to knock the woman to the floor.
The brawl is thought to have occurred on the same day a petition to curb street drinking in the town reached 2,000 signatures.
Mr Nevardauskas said: ‘It was total carnage. Everyone was just screaming and fighting. I though to myself “typical Wisbech” – what a great advert for the town.’
He added that he thought the person who was pushed into the fountain looked ‘clearly drunk’.
He said: ‘Everyone kept saying to her “go away and leave that girl alone” but everyone else around was drunk as well. It just shows that binge drinking should be stopped.

‘The lady who fell into the fountain was arguing with a lad at first. I think she wanted a cigarette from him. When the girl in the white top said “leave him alone” the woman turned round and hit the girl.
‘Then the older woman got involved, the woman who said “come on, come on” started dragging the woman by the hair.
‘Then the woman on the mobility scooter pushed her in the pond – with her beer can in the other [hand]. People were saying she was drunk as well.’
Mr Nevardauskas added: ‘I didn’t really think I could do much to stop it so I just started recording it because that was all I could do at the time.’

A Cambridgeshire Constabulary spokesman said: ‘We were called at 5pm on August 31 to reports of violence in Church Terrace, Wisbech.
Officers attended the scene and a woman in her 20s from Wisbech was arrested on suspicion of common assault. She was later released under investigation.’
