Woman in her 20s questioned by police after man known to her is stabbed to death in Perth

A young woman is being questioned by police after a man in his 30s was stabbed to death in Perth.

The man was found with serious stab wounds on Plaistow Street in Joondalup just before 9pm on Thursday.

Paramedics tended to him but he could not be saved.

A woman in her 20s who is known to the man is assisting officers with their inquiries, police said.

The stabbing is believed to be domestic violence-related.
